SPECIAL MASTER OF AEROSPACE ENGINEERING

The Special Master of Aerospace Engineering is for students already having a total five years university curriculum (either divided between bachelor and master or single stream) title in any engineering discipline, and willingful to specialize in space topics. It is a two-year program; however, it reduces to a one-year program for students with a degree in the area of aerospace engineering. Students are trained in research and development activities through an educational programme that covers both theoretical and practical aspects, including lab activities. The following labs are currently active at the School of Aerospace Engineering:

AerosPower Lab (Power Systems for Aerospace Lab)
ARCA Automation Robotics and Control for Aerospace Lab
EOSIAL Earth Observation Satellite Images Applications Lab
Flight Mechanics Lab  "Michele D. Sirinian"
Guidance and Navigation Lab
Nanosatellities Electronics Lab
Thermo-vacuum and Optics Lab
Pleiades Lab
Ground Station
SIASPL: SIASpace Propulsion Lab

The School's facilities include two ground stations for tracking and commanding satellites, a space simulator (thermo-vacuum, magnetic field, sun simulator), a clean room for assembling microsatellites, different free-floating devices to simulate frictionless/gravityless orbital and attitude motions, a rocket motor set-up.
